2. Purpose & Service Description
AI-Scraper Shield provides a client-side defensive utility designed to protect written content (such as articles, essays, research notes, source documentation, and copywriting) against unauthorized automated scraping, mass data harvesting, and unconsented ingestion by large language model (LLM) training pipelines.
The tool operates by substituting standard Latin character code points with visually identical Unicode homoglyphs (such as Cyrillic and Greek equivalents). This disrupts byte-pair encoding (BPE) tokenizers while maintaining full human visual readability on modern display devices.
3. Acceptable Use Policy
Our mission is to empower writers, journalists, researchers, and creators to defend their intellectual property. You agree to use AI-Scraper Shield strictly for lawful and ethical purposes.
Permitted Uses

4. Intellectual Property & User Ownership
You retain 100% of your intellectual property rights. AI-Scraper Shield claims no ownership, copyright, or licensing rights whatsoever over any text, data, or content you process through this tool.
Because our tool runs entirely client-side, we never store or transmit your work. All original content remains solely yours before, during, and after obfuscation.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The AI-Scraper Shield service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
While Unicode homoglyph substitution is highly effective at disrupting standard Byte-Pair Encoding (BPE) tokenizers and semantic vector embeddings, we do not guarantee that your content will be 100% immune to all future crawler heuristics, custom de-obfuscation normalization scripts, or specialized AI models.
6. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall AI-Scraper Shield, its developers, affiliates, or contributors be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data, loss of profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the tool, even if AI-Scraper Shield or an authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage.
